What do you think can be areas for "Investment"?
What are the areas where collectors may expect returns? (**** there are some that do not agree that these should be called as investment. This may be true, because these would not guarantee any return and may even lead to a decrease in value).
We have not really gone into specialization. Our collections cover a wide range.
Our interests:
US coins, stamps and paper money - have always had a large demand. But keep abreast of the latest trends in collecting. There are specific areas which enjoy growth and some that stagnate.
China collectibles - with the economic growth in China, people there would soon have higher disposable income which could be channelled to acquisitions by collectors
HongKong (and maybe Macau) - gained interest when reverted back to China
Philippine Coins (US) - Philippine Coins (United States of America era) if to be classified as American coins would lead to an increase in demand, because as mentioned, US coinage has a large pool of collectors
Philippine MINT stamps - spanish, american and japanese occupation era gives us history. Fascinating and very interesting. The newer stamp issues that came out now have limited numbers and some (because of the topic or design) have already been sold out.
